Coming from an exceptional terroir on the Bolovens plateau at an altitude of 650 meters in southern Laos, our pepper stands out olfactorily and tastefully with its exceptional aromatic elegance. Bolovens White Pepper is light and subtly spicy, fresh, with citrus notes. White pepper is processed black or red pepper. By removing the outer skin, the pepper becomes softer and blends better in sauces. Pepper is best purchased as whole peppercorns, as freshly ground pepper is vastly superior to the ready ground powder. Whole peppercorns retain their flavour indefinitely but quickly lose their aroma and heat after grinding. Glass jar with twist-off lid (thus preventing the contact with the air and foreign elements).
