Chili Habanero Scorpion Trinidad Butch T Powder

Scorpion Trinidad Butch-T is a fruity and extremely spicy habanero chili. Use in very samll quantities and with extreme care.
According to the Guinness World Records, a laboratory test conducted in March 2011 measured a specimen in 1,463,700 Scoville heat units. The Scorpion Trinidad is a variety of the Chinese Capsicum species
While the pepper is native to Tobago and Trinidad, it was propagated in the United States by Butch Taylor in 2011, who provided seeds to Neil Smith of The Hippy Seed Company and Marcel de Wit of the Chilli Factory, both in Australia. Smith named the peppers after Butch Taylor.
Scorpion chili is so called because the pointed end of the chili resembles the sting of a scorpion.
As for the taste, as with most extremely hot peppers, it also has a sweet start in the mouth, but the spiciness starts much earlier than any of the other peppers, becoming the dominant taste.
You can add a Scorpion Trinidad to almost any recipe that calls for hot peppers. Ideal for hot sauces and spice blends. It is exceptionally hot.
The Scorpion Trinidad Butch-T is so spicy that special precautions must be taken in its handling. Wear gloves, at least to keep a major chili burn on your skin at bay. But if you are sensitive to capsaicin (the compound that makes chili peppers hot), then we recommend wearing goggles and even a face mask when handling Scorpion Trinidad Butch-T.
