Bamboo Jade Green Salt Molokai Hawaii is a sea salt infused with organic bamboo leaves creating a gently savory and sweet finishing salt. Suitable for Asian dishes, salads, white meat, fish and shellfish. This traditional Hawaiian sea salt (also known as Green Salt) is handled gently through a slow and careful process of solar evaporation on hermetically sealed, food-grade solar pans, allowing the salt crystals to form with the trace minerals and electrolytes intact. Once harvested and sieved it is infused with organic bamboo-leaf extract, prized in Southern China as a health aid, to yield a savory varietal with abundant amino acids, antioxidants and vitamines. Said to compose up to 80 different naturally occurring minerals, including potassium and magnesium, which are typically stripped from processed table salts. A scientific analysis performed on the Molokai “whole salt” harvested by traditional methods contained only 84% sodium chloride, a distinct health benefit. A natural product, free from additives of any kind.
