    Light and fluffy with a mild taste, the Flake Salt from Cyprus is a versatile mediterranean gourmet sea salt ideal for use in cooking, baking, and garnishing. The unique pyramid shape of the Cyprus Flake salt is created through the process of solar evaporation of sea water where the water is channeled into a chain of shallow ponds or lagoons and then into large pans where the water is gradually heated, forming the timeless pyramid shapes of the salt. The process continues until the salt reaches 3% humidity, and can take up to two years to complete.
    These salt flakes are known for their large, shiny, pyramid-shaped crystals. It has a mild taste characteristic of Mediterranean salts and is wonderfully light and fluffy. Because of the large surface area these light flake crystals will provide a burst of salty flavor and then dissipate quickly. Ideal for seasoning meat, seafood, vegetables, pastas, soups and sauces.

    Glass Jar: 100g. With twist-off lid (thus preventing the contact with the air and foreign elements). Measures: 6.25*6.25*8cms.
    Doypack: 400g. Measures: 13*23cms.
    Doypack Refill: 100g. Measures: 11*19cms.

    La carne cambia completamente sapore

    Ho assaggiato questo tipo di sale in un ristorante ottimo e costoso qui in città per cui sono corsa su Amazon a cercarlo. Usatelo sulla carne rossa, sarà tutto un altro sapore!

    Un sel qui fait la différence en cuisine

    Un article que j’ai tout d’abord commandé à l’occasion des noces de chypre, et que j’utilise depuis en cuisine. Ce sel au goût très prononcé, aisément friable à la main, réhausse agréablement le goût des grillades de poisson en fin de cuisson par exemple. Notez toutefois qu’il s’agissait ici d’un premier achat en la matière et que je n’ai donc pas de point de comparaison.

    Ich habe das Salz mittlerweile zum dritten Mal bestellt. Es ist bei uns der Renner am wochenendlilchen Frühstück mit Gurken und Tomaten. Die Lieferung ist immer zügig, spätestens zwei Tage nach Bestellung angekommen.

    Avevo visto questo tipo di sale in numerosi programmi di cucina, primo su tutti Gordon Ramsay che lo usa sempre. Pensavo sinceramente che le scaglie fossero più piccole, ma devo dire che esteticamente fa la sua bella figura su una costata
