Coming from an exceptional terroir on the Bolovens plateau at an altitude of 650 meters in southern Laos, our pepper stands out olfactorily and tastefully with its exceptional aromatic elegance. Bolovens Black Pepper is sweet, fresh, with acidic notes and exceptional length in the mouth. When the ripest green peppercorns are left to dry naturally, they turn black. Pepper is best purchased as whole peppercorns, as freshly ground pepper is vastly superior to the ready ground powder. Whole peppercorns retain their flavour indefinitely but quickly lose their aroma and heat after grinding. Glass jar with twist-off lid (thus preventing the contact with the air and foreign elements). Size: 6,25*6,25*8cms. This is the most common pepper. Keep in a cool and dry place.
